Yes quite a hat. I made a white border because the hat would have been twice as wide, had I not. The colors used were Cadmium Red, Titanium White and the background Ultramarine Blue - I chose that as with white is has a slight mauve hue.

It is very relaxing - I have always like painting at first with watercolor, then acrylics - Glad I did because as you say, it's very "relaxing" - I have no cares when painting, quite often planets and nebula - That subject really is full of color.

They are certainly good colour choices and very striking. As for your your other choice of subject matter, you are right, with the arrival of the Hubble space telescope particularly, there are some fantastic colours to be seen in those far flung nebulae and galaxies!

Yes - Would be a grim place with no color, We have a garden than is not large, just enough that we can manage - Love the summer months with Fuchsia's/geraniums ect.

Yes in my front garden not big at all. I have 3 European Fan Palms, Fuchsia and an orange rose names 'trooper' - What a blaze of color that is.

Wow! I love the colour orange. Years ago I was in Italy and I remember that when I returned to the South on the train the houses took on an orange hue, I’ve loved it ever since.

I have not been to Italy, I have been to Greece and her islands, same with Spain - in Med light color seem to have a much stronger hue,

Bougainvilleas not orange but a good example of what you mean, Although our Orange Rose shouts "look at me".

Vivid colours. It's fabulous. Reminds me of Audrey Hepburn because I'm sure she wore a hat like that in My Fair Lady. It wasn't red but same style.

Wow! I envy your talent. I did an art workshop, gouache, on saturday, just to see if I enjoyed it. The subject was a picture of a lovely dog. My piece looked like a werewolf! 🤣 I'll stick to sewing and crochet!

Thank you/ I use Acrylic which like , gouache, is fast drying. I think animals are not that easy, apart from birds. I bet crochet is not that easy creating with yarn and a needle.
