Good advice. It may be a long winter, though I have just checked and there is no/little snow forecast for my area (It may snow and rain on Saturday). The humidity is sky high though (90+ on some days) so I will be keeping snug and warm.

Still not even had a frost here. Only 2 frosts this winter and that was last

Year.

Our forecast for this morning is for heavy rain and west south westerly gusts of wind up to 67mph. I do not think we will be having our usual early walk - sorry Merlin. There should be a lull between 3 and 4pm with winds of 22 mph.

Yes, all follow becraftygirl's advice - you know it makes sense:-)

No snow forecast for the Midlands but storms with gale force winds, think it was northern Scotland that could have snow rather than rain. I have started wrapping up in a duvet as well as blanket when sitting around in the cold, lots of hot drinks but ran out of milk so need to go to shop. Due to go on holiday next Monday weather forecast not much better for then, just hope theres no snow. Is down south so might be slightly warmer. Keep warm everyone
