I never expected so many replies. I am so torn. We are raising our 2 special needs grandsons who are toddlers. I am an only child and can't be with mom. As much as I want to. It breaks my heart.

You are doing a wonderful job by raising your grandsons. A very difficult, tiring but enjoyable task especially when they are both toddlers.

You can't be both places at once so don't beat yourself up about it.

I'm sure your Mum understands your situation & as long as you keep in touch with her she will be happy.

She more than you under stands much more than you thing as it is a big job to look after them as I have a 25 year old at home

As the others have said, your mum will totally understand; and what a job you have bringing up your two special needs grandsons. Try not to feel guilty because you can't do any more than you are already doing. All best wishes xx
