Oh Babs how awful for you, watching the floods etc on TV I have been thinking about all the poor people suffering especially at Christmas time. I hope you are at least keeping healthy, the last thing you need right now is to become ill.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. It has been different. No telly, no radio, can't read cos no light. But, funnily enough I enjoyed it. The expectations were over, we got on with it. No fuss, hooha, or false happiness (not saying I'm not happy but everyone wishes everyone else a happy christmas with a big grin on their faces, whether they are feeling pretty yuk or not.)

Luckily, I have been ok over this time, but I am glad to be able to make a cup of tea!!!!!
