I have started working my way through the trials and although travelling is a bit of an issue with me, everything so far has been straight forward. I went, initially, thinking that I might not go through with the valves and was just using it as a way to get under the microscope of a top respiratory consultant....mine, although I go to Mansfield, is a consultant at Royal Brompton..and they are the boys. So, put your mind at rest, bear up with the screening process....you will have x-rays, cat scan, nuclear scan, breathing test etc and if you go onto the control group, you will have a top consultant sorting out your meds...you just can't loose.
