Sounds like you have an infection Mojo, a trip to the doctors would be a good idea, or have you got sos pack at home? xx

I'm afraid that's fairly common with Copd, but you will learn how to deal with them better, I, along with many others, get them frequently, but they do go eventually. Go armed with questions when you see your consultant, good idea to write them down as we tend to go blank once we get there! Hope you feel better soon. xx

I would visit your GP now to get advice. You may have a chest infection which can be treated with abs.

No point in waiting to ask the consultant. Although you should keep the appointment for further details & help.

Keep well 🌹

Do you have emergency abs at home which you can use at the first sign of infection?

I have them plus Predisnolone if my chest is really tight. These meds are so handy to have in the house.

I hope you get on ok with the consultant. He will prescribe the best inhalers for your condition.

Get well soon 💐

First and foremost you must have emergency antibiotics and steroids, whether you need to use them or not depends if you catch an infection.

it does sound as if you have an infection now. these emergency meds are for nipping the likes of this in the bud.

When you see the specialist or consultant, ask about all inhalers, ask which would be the best for you and why, ask how far he thinks the problem has advanced,[or not ] you will have many tests that will answer questions for you, spirometry test etc, chest x rays etc. this will tell you a lot,

good luck mojo, hope you feel better soon,

kindest regards jimmy
