Thanks Nikkers do you know where Gerald is? xxx

Yes Jenss. He's gone back to Brisbane with his Nephew to see his terminally ill Brother ....probably for the last time. This time he's driven as his Brother wanted to give him some things to take back with him. It's nearly 2000 miles from where he (Gerald) lives so it takes him nearly 3 days by Ferry and road each way. I've had one message to say he's arrived safely, but that was all. He won't be back until next weekend (31st.) XX

im sorry it wasn't meant to be just thought if you was expecting to pay a lot more it was a bargain , I do know what its like shopping on a budget

They may have been a bargain but the dearer ones were family sized cookers. These ones are much more suited to single or a couple.

Yes. I was so pleased when you posted that you had found a cheaper model. I went straight to the Lidl Web page to look and smiled happily for you.

Thanks RR. I did get the price wrong in the first place, so it was a nice surprise when I went to get one today! XX

I know that it is good as it was my wife's starter model. Ann has progressed so much that she cooks all manner of meals in it now. She moved to the extravagance of the large one and now cooks larger meals. She serves once from it fresh and then portions more as ready meals for the freezer. So when Ann is not well enough to cook she can still pull a marvellous meal from the freezer and pop it in the wave for 10 mins for us both. Or even different meals for each if we choose.

It seems so posh to sit eating roast pork and Yorkshire etc while your partner eats beef dal with bindi josh and rice. 😃

That's a great bargain, I love Lidl , I've had some great things from there. Just have to wait for the store to re-open after getting a refurbish! I use my slow cooker a lot :) huff xxx
