I don't have industrial Asthma, but I am also on Montelukast for my severe allergic and infectious Asthma. I was wondering what it was industry that has caused this? I hope the Montelukast helps along with the other meds you are on. What antihistamine are you on? Mine didn't do anything for me until my ceterizine was increased to two a day.

Hi I take ceterizine to everyday not great relief from them ,I worked nhs 36 years my allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma came from job. I had just standard inhalers on off never been good results . So this is my first review in 6 years so hoping the Montelukast is going to work for me .They have also given me Fostair but no nothing about it just reading on here what people think of it there is a lot of side effects with it .

Hi Marysia, I am also on the same medication for severe asthma, mainly to open my airways at night so I can get some sleep. Think my asthma getting worse was due to my job as a pastry chef, which I did for over 30 years, breathing in all that flour dust didn't help. Now all sorts of things sets my asthma off, plus I also have severe copd, so need all my inhalors & pills to keep me going. I understand its not easy to get the right balance with medications to control our breathing , just have to try different ones to see which suits us best . Take care . Tina.
