The new bed arrived today, well it was there somewhere amongst all the packaging. I turned up the concentrator to the max, 5 litres and prepared for battle.
I fought hard and dirty through the layers of cardboard, polystyrene, polythene, sellotape, bubble wrap, etc and finally the metal frame of a bed appeared. Well I say a bed, it reminded me of the old meccano sets I used to play with many years ago for fun. This didn't look like it was going to be fun especially as I was already knackered just getting to it.
This bed had to be sorted and quick cus I was going to need a lie down to recover from assembling the dam thing.
All the parts were there and the tools required to put them together so it was down to whether my patients and body would hold out.
I huffed and puffed, coughed and spluttered, it was all very awkward with loads of bending which is something I really struggle with but finally I got there.
I'm off up the stairs now to try it out and It had better be good, if not then me and Mr Benson will be having a chat tomorrow .
Hopefully it'll be at least 10 years before Zebedee strikes again Boing!!!! Sleep well Healthunlockeders
I hope its comfy Tony. Enjoy your rest. You bought back some memories . Usually used to listen to this parody of magic roundabout, with friends after dinner and drinkies. I still think its funny, even when as now, i am sober. Love Margaret x
Hope it's as enjoyable as the new one I had a month ago - heaven! Although... I had them put the bed together for me! Just as well as I can't even lift a corner of the mattress it's so heavy - thank goodness for fitted sheets!
