Ah what fun today has been. Went to the Docs. He froze the verruca on my heel so am limping a bit. Told him all about my appointment last Friday - forgetting all the important bits! Told him the saga of the letter from Manchester and he said oh but I have seen a letter from them. He checked on the computer and there it was! So forgot to ask him the result of the last sputum test and my HI infection. Will have to make an appointment to see one of the other Docs as it is likely that I will have to wait another month to see hi for a routine appointment but will make an appointment for the cryogenic clinic in a month to see him for another chat whether or not the verruca is gone or not! In a couple of weeks will ring Manchester to see if the letter relating to the appointment last Friday has been sent out and start the whole thing again. Lol.
On a lighter note collected a parcel containing my "wedding shoes" this morning but couldn't really try them on properly with my smarting heel! Well that is something o look forward to. Off to see the Registrar tomorrow. So will confirm the date and time then.
Good night all. Take care of yourselves and Breathe Easy.
Love and hugs
Sian

I sympathise with you having a verruca, they are very painful!
I think it's always the same when you go to the GP, intending to ask about something important, & coming away forgetting to even mention it! So annoying!
Are you getting married? Just wondered when you mentioned registrars & wedding shoes!
Yep. Almost got there about two weeks ago and had agreed date of December 11th also grandson's birthday but step son to be couldn't get there and was suggesting other options so couldn't register. So today we will do it and the date is probably 27th November at 11 so that my friends can come - would have liked a late afternoon wedding as would have early dinner with candles but well, you are never really in charge of it are you? Best thing is not to ask anyone else their opinion - especially future Mother-in-laws. I wished I had had my own Mother to share it with though first time around but would probably have resented her opinions - though looking back I think we would have agreed but then probably not if Mummy had lived. The reason we appear to be so alike is that from the age of 7 I was raised by her Mum. If Mummy had lived I would have been the opposite just because it was opposite. Instead I am the opposite of my Dad.
I forgot to mention a lot of things to the Doc like cholesterol test result and so on and so on. Anyway, as that has nothing to do with my lungs will make an appointment with my favourite lady Doc for that.
You are entitled to ramble! Especially since you have so much going on in your life just now. It is not an easy task arranging a wedding! You just do what you both want, not what anyone else wants.... It's your day! 💑
Take care of your health, you have to keep as fit as possible for your wedding day. It's tiring & stressful organising your special day!
Wishing you well & hope all goes according to plan x
Thanks Jessy, you are right of course but I always want to please everyone. We had a really good ( bad) day yesterday. Will post about it sometime later. It will give me something to laugh about - again.
Oh you must always do what you want or you won't be happy and happiness is what we all need!😁 wow I'm so excited for you!😁😁😁😁 I can't stop smiling! Candles would be nice day or night! Many Blessings to you and your future Husband Sian, hugs huff😀💟💟💟😘💕
Other half goes away for a couple of days tomorrow so will have time to sort it all out and try everything on together. Up until about an hour ago was looking forward to that but now almost crying because I don't want him to go! I am fine if not better on my own - spent a lot of time on my own as he was always away being in the RAF. ACh. It must be because it is dull and very cool here today. I have done a funny thing though and subconsciously saved up all my ironing to do after he has gone. I used to do that at 3 and 4 in the morning back in the RAF days. Funny eh?
