Le la wadie is the Thai name given to this plant. The Princes Royal renamed this plant as the name before was plumeria tree.and felt the name was not as beautiful as the plant.
Most of them are sweet scented and will have flowers on for most of the year.
I think it's my favourite in Thailand.
I have been in the garden for most of day..as it's cloudy and has rain a lot in the past 2 days specially in the nights so it's mild temperature at only 25c. It's been good and have enjoyed it very much.
That looks like a plant that I have in my living room except the flowers on mine are a creamy white. It's called 'Stephenotis' (don't think I've spelt it right) and in the evening the perfume is wonderful.
Hi, Andy, gorgeous flowers. Are you a native Thai (is that the way to say it?) or did you move there from elsewhere ?
My Daughter brought me some spices back from her holiday in Thailand, most of them I know, but I haven't a clue what Nagatmoor or Curcuma is, or what they are used for. If you could enlighten me that would be great.
Hi, so where were you from originally? never mind about the spices, I'll find out somehow, I love Thai food, never been there myself, but hope to go sometime in the future.
