my breathing was bad this morning, but nothing do with heat, it was freezing lol.

I don't get much chances to test my breathing in the sunshine lol.

what heating do you have does that affect your breathing

gas central heating that doesn't affect me, I thought you were talking about the sun lol

I was talking about sun but you seem to have heating on most days just wondered if that was affecting you i know some forms of heating make air dry

The weather here really affects my breathing... It's mostly sunny but it's the humidity that kicks my butt... it's really like breathing soup.. like someone on here posted awhile ago... it makes walking really hard slogging... but pump in purse...it can be done :)

My breathing is very laboured and has been over the last few days, there does not seem to be enough air to breathe in. Just use my reliever a bit more.

take care

yes totally understand that ,

I was just saying that! I feel it's really humid today & I'm feeling more breathless as the day goes on! Supposed to be heatwave here tomorrow 24 degrees! No breeze today so hope there's one tomorrow. 😀

It's the sticky nights that are getting me, never stop coughing long enough to sleep! :-)

ha ha isn't it funny how god made us so different if we all got hot sweats at the same age it wouldn't be a problem!

Pete did quite well actually as we went out early and then stayed indoors. He is coping with the breathing but not the back pain. Southampton tomorrow again so let's see what they can come up with this time. Take care xxx

I can sympathise totally with the back pain I had a spinal fusion done in 2006 helped a bit but still on morphine for the pain . does he know what the actual problem is with his back

Thank you mmzetor, I think Pete has a prolapsed/herniated disc but this has been going on for over 2 years now. The spinal cord stimulator is just not doing the job and his buttock pain is the worst. We just have to see what happens tomorrow.

Wishing you well. xx

good luck mine was herniated disk L3 /L4 mine started in jan 2004 then done op in feb 2006 waited 10 months before they done scan to see what was wrong first sent me to pshyio then podiarate the nuro they wasted 1000s if they had done scan it would have saved seeing all them people at the time I was only 28

That sounds terrible mmzetor and I do feel for you. Pete waited a long time to be seen, then had two lots of totally useless injections, then had to wait longer because of his cardio sarcoidosis before finally having the stimulator fitted. I can't wait for tomorrow to arrive and off to Southampton we go.

Take care xxx

I use a fan or air purifier which really helps with the breathing.

Sometimes I use a clean damp flannel over nose and mouth.

I suppose everyone is affected in a different way. Both very warm air and very cold air affects me. Such as steam from shower, and blasts of cold wind.

yes im the same with shower and cold wind & frosty air feels like its burning your lung nurse told me to put a scarf over mouth and nose but alway make me feel suffocated to be honest its hard to get a happy medium for us
