Copd and lung cancer at 52 yikes lol.

Hi Tasha, just to let you know that there is life after this op. I was same age as you when I had upper left lobe removed and I too have COPD. four years later and I am still here. Your life will change and you will need to adapt in so many ways, but to get rid of that big C tumour is the first step. I will not tell you it will be easy but it is possible, as I am living proof of. Try to remain positive. I wish you all the very best.

Hi graeme b just was reading your post and feeling a bit better my husband was diagnosed out of blue and totally unexpected with cancer at 54 he has copd heart trouble and insulin dependant diabetic although its not lung cancer reading your post has gave me little boost as i am not coping or gettin my head round it as yet cant eat sleep and just heartbroken but you are a inspiration thanks for posting this it has been a help x
