Susie the Vet took Murphy home with her last night...put him on an I.V. drip for anti-biotics...
He ate some food this morning and she says he's looking much brighter...now she's going to worm him...said because the wormer is so powerful, kittens can vomit and have diarrhoea after dosing, so will keep him in the clinic and let us know how he is late afternoon...
Not completely out of the woods but certainly much better than he was.
Thank you all very much for your support...positive thinking really works!

What a great vet you have. So pleased Murphy is brighter today. Lets hope he goes from strength to strength and he is soon back with you in his loving home.
Thank you so much for the update, we have all been on tenterhooks. Praying, hoping and sending healing thoughts and wishes.
If love can bring Murphy back to health and fitness, you have an ocean of it pouring your way.
Love Azure (((HUGS)))
Wow that's such a relief vashti. I was worrying about poor little Murphy all yesterday. Fingers crossed you can bring him home soon. Give him a big kiss from me please. x
That's so good to hear Vashti. I hope the dear little mite is soon well and back with you again. What a lovely vet you have, I can't imagine any of the ones I've ever met going to that much trouble? Positive thoughts still coming your way. XX
Thank you for keeping us informed Vashti - so many of us seem to be "Animal Crackers"; they're a huge part of my life - can't imagine how I'd manage petless. Tell Murphy to hang in there.
