Positive news this morning for our CF brothers and sisters. I know it was a small sample and the improvement was not a great percentage but this must bring hope to CFers for the future to improve their quality of life.

Yes I heard that on the radio. Always listen out for anything to do with lungs and it was good to hear something is going forward.
Excellent news.
A very informative chat & interview of a 16 year old on radio 2 yesterday Cof. It's grand that there's hope for the future.

Was the young lady called Mary peege. She really touched my heart when I heard her say whilst she was on the gene therapy she could play out with her siblings.
Really good article flib - thank you. The young CFers who took part in this trial and the phase 2 are so very brave, especially knowing the fruits will come much later. Do you remember seeing 'A Boy Called Alex'. About a remarkable young man with CF who went to Eton. It was actually quite uplifting. After showing the huge amount of drugs he had to take and his frequent spells in hospital on IVs he was so determined and went on to conduct the Magnificat at the college.
I so hope great things come from these trials eventually.
