HI Rainy,
funnily enough I am actually breathing a bit better on a morning with the cold weather, must be the pome in me LOL. Only immediate problem I have is eating.....
My mum was english she came out here in1923 / 1924 . She was about 15 months of age . Mum was southern york shire a town named .Mexborough or Maxborough do you know of it at all.
Off to havemy chest xray today .off back to see dr Bremmner on 6 july for a exercise oximetre test have you had one at all.bye for now
I do Rainy, a part of Doncaster, coal mining town which has struggled since coal mining was pretty much abandoned in UK. I am from Leeds, West Yorkshire, have been here for nearly 20 years. I think the test is the walk test, you walk next to a nurse for 5 minutes up and down a corridor with an oximetre on your finger and they measure your sats, depending on how low they fall and how quickly you recover determines whether you need supplementary oxygen. Try and get a cat scan if you can, I have had loads of xrays which they all said were 'clear' how in Gods name can that be when I have lost 60% lung functiom! Good luck Rainy hope you pass with flying colours x
I have 40% lung function left also but it seems to be the exertion that seems to get my breathing lowering somewhat.
