Flutist in his garden by the roses

A friend from church did me a favour by taking this photo a couple of weeks ago in the garden just as teh roses bloomed. Mind you the bush seems more prominent than anything else.

Great pic Mic, now we want someone to video you playing it under the roses and post it for us. Any wind instrument must be good for the lungs and its sure to sound better than my singing with the same results

I cannot sing very well either, yet, at church, wehn there was a depletin on the numbers of choristers, a lady from teh choir came to the front pews to ask for any men to join the choir. I did, was the only one in the end and make a joyfuul noise. I only had one critic from an old boy who wouldn't join the choir himself ! Bach seat driver!!! Joy, what have ye got to lose, death where is your sting!

Egan, so much pleasure reading this! The white dog is made of stone! The lady smokes, I did suggest to stop smoking as teh disease I have has been caused by passive smoking from my father when I was young. She said it's true she should give up. This was 3 years ago, hasn't sunk in yet. He son-in-law is the same, brathing difficulties and difficulty in bending when he plants flowers, not sunk in yet either! I shall carry on publisizing wellness! Mic

So sorry Mic its been one of those days can't even remember the old mans name today. I also have a bright orange rose they were left in the garden when we brought the bungalow and they have a scent to them many roses today do not smell

onamission, This is so wonderful, a scented rose garden just left there specially to cheer you. I hope you feel much better soon.

I bought some bergamore the other day and mix this in almond oil, so nice to put on the torso in the morning after my wash, unexpensive but oh so lovely! Mic
