how beautiful
Oh how lovely that is so cute, nature never ceases to amaze me,beautiful.
Glenice the town near me has a river running through the town and it has black swans and loads of different ducks etc living there and the town employs a Duck/Bird warden , its lovely to sit and watch them. Hope you are well xxx Fred
Thanks Fred,I am doing ok at the moment,I also have thyroid probs which cause trouble at times, but hey ho,compared to many I am doing great.
I have never seen a black swan,I am pleased to hear that there is a warden,as I do get anxious for all animals if there is a possibility of danger.
So cute Fred. Good luck on Wednesday. xxxx
So lovely. They're such graceful creatures. For one moment I thought you were as clever as Lyn 😀😉😉 Jan xx
Hi Fred, I remember seeing those Black Swans at Dawlish, there was some unusual whistling ducks there to.
Dawlish park is a great place to sit and watch the Swans and ducks while you tuck into one of there Locally made Ice Creams which are amazing.
Tony.
Aww! So beautiful. The wings make a perfect boat for the babies. It's quite a while since I saw them at Dawlish. X
Beautiful photo,I never knew they did. That.
Morning colours I must admit I didn't either, maybe Lyn seen it before as she seems to be friendly with swans. How are you today managing I hope ? xx
Oh fabulous Fred...they're gorgeous. Isn't it funny how the cygnets are still grey with the black swan. You would think she would have little black ones wouldn't you. lol xxx
Question than Lyn is that normal or not, just wondered if you have come across it, keep warm over at the lake. Speak later bye for now. xxx
Morning Fred, gorgeous photo. I remember the black swans when we stayed in Dawlish back in 1960, Such happy days and wonderful memories, Hope this weeks goes as planned for you Fred, Best wishes, Bulpit.
Thanks for that Dawlish has not changed that much over the years, I live just along a bit and I suppose I take all this here for granted being born here, as I have the sea on my doorstep and Dartmoor just up the road and Exeter and Plymouth both less than an hour away. Speak later Fred x
what sensible birds swans are, able to keep their babies cosy and safe! Lovely picture. iris. X
OK now I'm feeling homesick, we used to go to Dawlish Warren when I lived in Plymouth, not so crowded there, oh what lovely memories Ahhh.
Just like most mothers really Iris xxx
