Happy as can be all good friends and jolly good company, seven o'clock overcast, cold no wind and no sign of the sun, but here is the good bit, looking out the window the birds are there having their breakfast and a good wash in the bird bath, some of the trees are starting to bud and the spring flowers are hanging in there and the fields across the valley are a lovely green,so how lucky am I, very I say really lucky. Sometimes we do have to stop and look out rather than worrying about whats inside., any way enough of that how are we all today.
Sorry about this one.... A blonde, a brunette and a redhead all die and in order to get to heaven they must go up 100 steps and each step contains a funny joke. but they must not laugh.
The brunette goes first and only makes it to the first step before laughing, so she is sent down, next its the redheads turn and she did better and got to the seventh step before she laughed. Then up went the blonde step after step listening to all the jokes until she got to the 99th step when she burst out laughing.
"You were so close why did you laugh now" she was asked. The blonde replied "Sorry I just got the first joke".
As a boy I loved sport but had a fear of hurdles, but I am pleased to say I got over it.
Have a great and happy day xxxFred

Love the blond joke Fred...sooooo funny. lol. Good sunny morning...we have blue skies and sunshine and yesterday went up to 20 degrees. It was hot...lol. Wishing you a lovely day Fred and I hope the sun comes out for you. xxx
Hope I don't get into trouble with anyone of you lovely blondies lol, yes it was a really warm day yesterday and Hannah cooked us a lovely meal last evening as a thank you for looking after Bella, which was really nice. Lyn I still can not get over that Brian lived here, what school did he go to , we had two senior schools then Grammer and a secondary, I never made it up the hill to the grammer as was only interested in sport, and never really did any schooling till I joined the navy at 15 when I found learning was fun.
Hope the sun stays out for you today so you remain a hot lady lol. Speak later xxxFred
Snap same school as me, strange I was the same loved my running, spent hour cross country and represented the county schoolboys in that sport and also in field events, one advantage of being tall xxx
I used to do the high jump and was the Monmouthshire Champ all through my school years. I was also in the Welsh under 16's gymnastic team and came 4th in the Welsh Open and also entered the British Open, I think I came around 12th in that one...I can't remember. lol. It's nice to reminisce about the old days isn't it. Oh to have that energy now. lol
Got to agree,we don't spend enough time looking around and being grateful for the beauty that surrounds us I do think we tend to realise this as we grow older.
Morning Glenice now adays when I walk in a town including the one I have lived in all my life, I spend a lot of time looking up at the buildings as there is so much to learn from them as all the shop fronts are now so much a muchness but above are where the stories are if you know what I am trying to say. Have a good day xxFred
Yes Fred know exactly what you mean,I was born in the small town where I live, and it is only since I have started to walk into town, through our lovely pretty park, and in arcades and small streets where I never ventured with the car, that I have noticed so many lovely buildings, and ornamental railings, beautiful windows, that I just took for granted when I have passed them all these years,it's as though we have had our eyes opened for us.
I have recently joined and love your morning posts. Have been following your posts and they really cheer up my day so thank you. So pleased you home after your recent stay in hospital. I am learning a lot from you all and never noticed that seagulls only have one leg but maybe that is just in your area! Just love the sea but the sun has started to shine here too in Manchester. I am off for a swim to keep myself active and hopefully help my copd. Have a good day and thanks again.
Morning Moira hope you enjoyed your swim, so pleased you have joined us at last as we all help each other whether one is poorly or not, it helps to talk as I have found out. One thing Mo is we have the saying (or i do) Keep Smiling no matter what. Fred xxx
