Hello
The ability to reply to this post has been turned off.
Well good morning Cora22
May I say a big warm welcome to you.
You don't need courage to post - feel free to ask anything you want. Many of us on here share our concerns worries and good news on here so please feel free to post whenever you want.
There are many serious issues discussed on this site but many of us deal with these with a token of humour to get us through.
How are you feeling at the moment?
I am sure there will be many more welcomes coming your way.
Take care
Thankyou sokrakers I am feeling good today.
If ever you need cheering up on a morning check out 'our' Fred's posts. His name comes under Holly 17 i think but I'm sure you will get a giggle from his posts.
Obviously there are more serious posts but Fred runs a morning role call almost - he always makes me smile with his posts.
Don't forget to post - we are a good bunch of people here
Good Morning Cora and a BIG welcome - its another beautiful day here in Wiltshire - hope its fine where you are
Yes the sun is shining and not as cold as it has been lately.
Hi cora22 and welcome to this lovely site. You will find many delightful, supportive people here! Suz x
Hi cora22 and well done for plucking up the courage to post. i was scared to post for months too so I know how you feel. but, now your here, don't be a stranger. We need to stick together us COPDer's lol. x
Welcome cora22, you have certainly come to a great site with lots of support and advice plus some humour too of course. I am carer for my hubby and he has sarcoidosis, COPD and a prolapsed disc in his back. I would be lost without the wonderful people on here and hope to hear from you again very soon. xxxx
Good morning Cora
Welcome to the site.I have only been a member since Nov. myself. I have learned so much from these warm hearted knowledgeable people. Ask us anything that comes to mind. Its best to fill us in on yourself and your condition to help answer your questions. Members post photos of their pets and many other things. Also we have jokes and stories.we have one lady that should be a writer. We also have two ladys that should be photographers. I could go on and on , but you'll see for yourself.
Welcome and have a great day.
Rubyxx 😊 😊

A very warm welcome to you cx
Thanks for everyone's warm welcome. A little bit about myself
I am a widow, I live in Llantrisant, South Wales, age 51, no children and I have copd diagnosed 8 months ago. I am looking forward to getting to know you
Hi Cora & welcome . I'm sure you will enjoy this site - lots of helpful information & support plus some laughs along the way . You don't live too far away from me - we are in West Wales just outside Haverfordwest & I have a cousin in Porthcawl . Do you have a local Breathe Easy group - well worth investigating , they are a good support too . Take care , Helen .
Haverford West is such a pretty place you are so lucky to live there. I did a check on breathe easy groups but there isnt one near enough for me.
Hi Cora ,Lovely to get a reply from you so quickly . I'm sorry you don't have a Breathe Easy group in your area - if you lived a bit nearer you could come to ours . You say that you are a widow & no children - I hope that you are getting support from someone . Incidentally, I am not the person with a condition- my husband has IPH, a very rare lung condition ( in fact , as far as we know , he is the only person in Wales with it.) He was diagnosed in September 2011 after a biopsy at Morriston Hospital . It came as a terrific shock ,especially not being able to talk to anyone else to compare notes . Anyway, enough about us , as our Grandsons in America would say , have a nice day . Hope to hear from you soon & that you enjoy this site . Helen.
Your husbands illness must have been a big shock especially as it is so rare. I am very lucky I have good friends and family around me but it is good to correspond with people who understand the illness.
Cora
