Just to warn you all I have got the picture of my face back next to any thing I do on the forum, I suggest dark glasses might help until you get used to seeing it. Keep smiling :) Fred

You're too modest Fred. You have a lovely smile. :-) I like to be able to put a face to a name.

We should encourage more people to be brave! Jan

I agree Jabber, Its nice to put a face next to a name. Its more like your actually talking to them. As soon as I can manage it, I'll have a face in the group.

It's local Fred. I'm lucky enough to live only a couple of miles from the sea at West Bay, Dorset, which is currently starring in the 2nd series of Broadchurch. This was taken on the pier as I waved my husband and some friends off on a boat trip along the coast. :-) Jan

Hi Fred, loved your smiley photo, it matched your personality but I must say I love a man in uniform. If you were on Subs another notch up in my admiration xx

Thanks Suzy your more than kind, like a lot of others I joined the Royal Navy straight from school at 15 did the first 12 years on surface ships etc and the last 13 in boats (submarines) then worked 20 yrs with the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary and now I work unpaid for my wife, daughters and granddaughter as general dogs body which keeps me going. Keep smiling Suzy and stay safe. Fred xx :)

One of my Brothers joined the Royal Navy at 17/12 spent years in there, turned down subs, transfered to Australian Navy for two years then back here for a few years. In the 80's went to Australian to live. Loves it there. Stay safe Fred xxx
