Evening.

Don't beat yourself up about what's the point of that, just decide when your going to stop again if that's what you want.

hi brooke 12... 18 months a and you say it made your lungs feel better so when your ready again go for it again and if you break again just keep going for it but never give up trying to give up and you will get there in the end.

just dont leave it to long has i know how hard it is to do , good luck

Hi Brooke, I have given the cigs away with help from the patches. It's really hard sometimes, having a coffee etc, I slipped up a bit on boxing day but I didn't beat myself up over it. Every time I crave one, not often I must say, I think of my poor lungs and my purse and it passes. Do it only when you are ready. All love LeeLee. X

I agree with the others Brooke please don't beat your self up about it. We all know the benefits of stopping smoking and I have to remind myself every day ..today I won't have a cigarette. It is hard Brooke believe me there are times when I think ooohhhh I need a fag and I fell off the smoking wagon a few times. We are all different and I know for me if I have one that would be it. I have been a non smoker now for 6 yrs. When you are ready have another try. I am thinking of you. XXx

Must say I felt better when I gave up last time so hoping I can do it again.

Try again when your ready mornings are my worst time.

Your lungs are going to suffer until you pack in smoking - forever. It has been admitted by the BMA and others in Smoking Cessation that there are some people who simply cannot quit - maybe you are one of them; today that is not a valid reason to continue smoking, the philosophy of "quit or die" no longer applies as you have the option of switching to electronic cigarettes which produce none of the tar or carcinogens that exacerbate lung problems. Like you I failed after trying every method known to man, up to and including hypnosis, friends of mine have fallen off the wagon after years of abstinence, we are not simply weak-willed as many would have you believe "I did it cold turkey, so can you" is something that really gets me, we are programmed in some way. It is 5 years and 2 days since I smoked (which I had done for 60 years) and I know I will never need another tobacco cigarette - I even find the smell off-putting. As I always say, they're your lungs and you have the right to do what you will, but as long as you smoke you can expect no improvement in your condition. I so hope you can kick the habit by whatever means, and good luck to you.
