Got my date for my 4 day lung transplant accessment. It's 23rd February. They told me last week it would be April before I was going back up there. But my consultant in nottingham has spoke to them and brought it forward. As I'm now really struggling with my breathing

I'm going up to Newcastle I live in nottingham. How does he find all the anti rejection drugs xx

He didn't have any problems with them at all but he was a bit naughty at first and missed taking them a few times. Which is not good! He very quickly found out that they are not to be messed with.

I've heardgood things about Newcastle. xx

Not to worry. If you do forget them occasionally you won't die! But you will begin to feel the effects if you become careless. And typical man he was being careless. He was 56 by the way when he had his op. No problems at all.

You'll be fine sweetie. Just look after yourself.

Hi Michelle12120. Great news for you there are people here who have been for the same tests you are going to have and there are others on the transplant list for and I'm sure they will share their experiences with you, I met my respiratory team in Edinburgh 2013 to discuss me going on the double lung transplant list but was put on hold for the time being as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis as well and because it was the RA that too half my Lung space it may still happen, Good Luck Matt
