I'm so sorry but still my comments in reply to yours won't work properly...but I loved all the stories about your own dogs...told Eilis most of them...she looked at me with disbelief actually!
It was so cold this morning...really seriously frosty and the car wouldn't start so Hubert from next door came with his tractor and pulled it down the road...then it was alright.
Brendan came with some more oxygen cylinders...he's a cheerful sort of a chap...not as sexy as Malachi though...but I didn't tell him that! Malachi is lovely...he's not very tall and he shaves his head, he is drop dead gorgeous and I have to sort of rein myself in and not flirt outrageously 'cos he's young enough to be my son...but he has these stunning blue eyes and I go all over peculiar when he calls...
All the Christmas stuff has gone...not there was much to begin with...but its gone now and the Amaryllis is almost dead...it was really lovely...I bought it from Lidl's and it was seriously cheap but had two enormous scarlet flowers...well worth the couple of euro it cost...
We hang bird feeders outside the sitting room window and have to top them up with nuts every day...there is another feeder hanging in a weeping willow tree which we can see through the window in the front door...I make a pudding of cheese and suet and seeds which the Blue Tits love...put it all into the mixer with a dash of cooking oil to bind it together.
I'd been getting all excited about going to the post office to get my pension...then the light dawned they'll be closed 'cos it's new years day and I'll have to wait 'til they re-open...quite tempted to go on a bit of a spree actually, but it'll be a spree in Tesco's I expect, buying bread and porridge oats and other such essentials...
I hope you are all as well as you can be...
