How very pleasant! it did work, congratulations! Lovely theme. I bet the tree smells nice. When I was little my mum used true candles (little ones) on the branches. This one's perfect, Lyd!

so pleased I have worked out a little bit more technology!

It's an artificial tree and we brought down from the loft with an idea of replacing it. by the time we had put it together there was no way we were going to the bother of getting rid of it and buying another. You have to spend your energy wisely at our age! Iris x

We shall be on our own this Christmas as one son will be with his wife's family in Germany and the other son will be visiting his brother who lives in Sydney. so Christmas morning will be lots of skyping with our children and grandchildren. the tree might help us feel a bit festive!

It is a lovely tree, missing mine it was too big for us to put up so got rid and bought a small artificial holly bush, nice but not as good as a tree.

Never mind needs must and have made up for it with other twinkling things.

I'm sure you will make your home look lovely. I have a big copper jug and fill it with holly and ivy, but all these jobs get harder as the years go by. The holly in the garden has very few berries this year.
