I do get uncomfortable feeling at the back of my lungs very often. I sit with a hot water bottle between my shoulder blades and that helps . I tend to feel exhausted quite a lot and I hate that :x but, like you, I am coping OK so I know I should be grateful :) As long as I am breathing and walking I am pleased :) You take care...try the hot water bottle! :)

I know the feeling, but try not to be scared, as it makes things worse...I am ever so good at giving others advice, but uutterly lousy at taking it! :p You take very good care of yourself :)

Sorry to hear of your problems. Not sure how your pain threshold is but my chest cavity is always sore and tight but I tend to ignore it. Not sure whether its to do with my indigestion problems or something I've heard about "pleural gases". Apparently lungs can give off gases in certain circumstances but not done any real research on the matter. I must admit I am a bit blasé about my lung condition since I've had since 2007 or longer. I always remember the Monty Python's song "All ways look on the bright side of life"

Stops me feeling sorry for myself.

Hope this helps

The muscles between the ribs can ache sometimes if you've been breathing a bit heavier than normal. It's like aching arm muscles when you've done a job which uses muscles not often put to extra use.

Apparently there are no pain receptors in the lungs so this is probably muscle pain. You could try reaching above your head that might loosen the back muscles.Good luck, D.
