The doctors put me back on antibiotics again . Sleepy all the time but got to work. And now the inside of my mouth keeps going white . Not sure what's going on.

I tend to get thrush in my mouth when I take antibiotics. My mouth also get soooo dry I can hardly speak (which to some people I suppose that's a good thing ) I have to keep taking sips of water. It does all wear off eventually and there is something you can take, but I have forgotten what it is.....hope you are lots better

The antibiotics maybe affecting your mouth and you maybe starting with oral thrush - get some live yoghurt that will help. It is so difficult when you feel so sleepy - when my husband is ill he feels so sleepy - he has never slept very much but since COPD he sleeps much more than he ever used to. I hope that the antibiotics do their trick and you start to feel much better soon. TAD xx

This is what I take for thrush but it was prescribed several times by my doctor before I started to buy it over the counter.

TAXI1974 maybe a call to the GP for advice might help? They may prescribe it as you have been on antibiotics - thrush (if indeed it is that) often follows antibiotics (or in my case ALWAYS!)

Thrush. Great some live yogurt ASAP. Also, cut our sugar (if you can for a while) and buy some acidophilus capsules fro holland and Barret to get good bacteria back into your gut urgently. You don't need candida in your body, it can spread down your asophagus.

Definitely souds like thrush. Scroll down to my posting of a few says ago re. thrush. Take care of it and don't let it get into your system.

Gargling with salt water after taking medications helps to ward off thrush. I have a prescription for Fluconazole which works a treat after a couple of days. Need to take care with thrush as it can quickly spread to your oesophagus and that really is painful!!

Try cordorcyl mouthwash its very good in them cases,expensive mind,there is a cheaper one but can't think of the name at the moment.
