Morning all, as most of u know ( cuz u've all been fantastic and messaged me bk when I needed advice or a pick me up ) I'm a alpha 1 Z, I have restricted airways at the top of my lungs and emphasema at the bottom , oh the joys, my kids and my hubby are not only my best friends but my comedians too, who has always made me laugh, but I'm finding laughing painful and gets me out of breath. The tops of my chest pull so tight when I laugh I get SOB and hurt. I'm not gonna stop laughing its free, I don't need a prescription and it helps shift them looming black days, just wandered does anyone else get this. ???Wishing u all well, big hugs if ur not. Oouch, When laughing becomes painfull.
I'm fine when I laugh but when I yawn I can feel a tension across my lungs like something pulling tight. When I told my consultant he said 'I'm not surprised with the amount of scaring you have on your lungs'
I mainly suffer with breathlessness and not pain so I'm lucky I guess'
Keep laughing Sonia, its definitely better than being miserable en it'
Hi dall, I agree it is , even with the pain. Keep smiling as they say, enjoy ur day. And I hope u don't yawn to much lol. X Sonia x
Yes Sonia, all of the time. SOB is a bitch and of course it hurts when you are struggling to breathe, especially at my age.
But then I enjoy awakening each morning, reaching over to my wife while at the same time being sadly grateful to having that pain because now we are still able to share a little more time with each other.
Hi eighty+, well I'm half ur age and I agree everyday is a bonus, I'll grimace through the pain , cuz , while I can laugh with my family I will. Take care. X Sonia x
I love laughing even though I lose my breath and it hurts, I have to clout my hubs over the head to make him stop sometimes! he's a total nutter! huff x
Hi huff, my hubby is accident prone and I know I shudn't laugh at his expense but the things he does and the way he does it has always made me laugh , keep smiling and take care x Sonia x
Hi Sonia hope you are fine, they do say that laughter is the best medicine, and its getting short in this day and age, so just keep laughing. Malk.
Hi malk, I will , I'll grimace through the pain its worth it to be fair. Hope ur well and take care. X Sonia x
