Portable oxygen concentrator

I want to buy a second hand portable oxygen concentrator for my husband, but I don't know where to start. Can anyone suggest somewhere reliable I might get one? We live in Manchester. Thank you.

Is your husband on prescription oxygen, check with your oxygen provider.

Air Liquide do two portable concentrators, Imogen G1 and Philips I-Go.

They also do liquid oxygen which is lighter than cylinders.

He is on liquid oxygen, he is currently on D2, but we want to get a portable, so we can get out and about whenever we want, but to buy one from new is really expensive. Thank you for the link for the company in Urmston, I will look into it.

Surely a phone call to your Pulmonary nurse will get your prescription changed to add a Freedom 400 cylinder. A back pack is provided and can be worn or fitted on a wheelchair as required. Regards Rib
