Prickly heat

I look like a pickled beetroot with a brilliant prickly heat rash all over my arms. Not sure that I will enter the Miss World contest today.

Hi Sukee52

Poor you! I think this calls for a trip to the Chemist for some anithistamine.

Oh good that means I may have a chance of winning. The itching powder in the bed did the job then. To calm the itch and heat dab affected area with a solution of ice cold bicarb of soda. Works a treat and drink the rest for indigestion. Left in the fridge stops it smelling. Clever stuff. Take care Dozy :) x

Thank you for your replies. I am on my way round Plumbob, I swore I wouldn't scratch it, but I lied. The antihistamine cream has helped I think. Looking at your lovely photograph Dozy Dormouse I think you would beat me out of sight, with or without the rash. It was a lot better until I had to wear a jacket to attend a funeral and now it is lovely and hot again. I thought I would make some scones with the baking powder and see if that had the same effect I'll let you know.

Sukee do what I do...Stub your toe on the table leg..... and for some reason as your hopping around and shouting in Arabic the itchiness goes away,........ but as the toe pain subsides the itching comes back !!! Strange phenomenon !!!!! LOL
