Sorry I can't help Kad, perhaps it's time to see your GP? Or call BLF?

Good luck with it xxx

Agree with peeg and peterjones, time to see your doc.

Its just possible that your higher sats could be due to your raised heart rate as the heart pushes the blood round the body, so oxygenating it. So increased rate could possibly be responsible for better sats. Ive had this; but this may not be so for you of course.

Don't leave the reflux. This is not just an inconvenience, but a potential dangerous condition which needs attention. Good luck :)

I have heart conditions as well as my lungs and 120 is high but not a disaster. I have been told to keep it below 150. I have had a number of treadmill tests were they wanted me to get up to 150 one failed because I was 150 before I got on it. I did go up to 179 but I had had a heart attack just before :(

I would see your GP but also look at what has changed in your life that could do this? Stress to much tea coffee?

My normal heart rate is around 120,I thought comparing it with others in my rehab unit this was a bit high so asked my consultant. He said " I,m not surprised because you,re struggling to breathe so much" other wise don,t worry about it.So your sats are probably up because your heart is working harder, this is probably a good thing so don,t worry. You should however get checked out just to make sure the changes are going in the right direction for the right reasons.Good luck!D.

Hi Kad,

A summary to what others have said. Don't worry to much about the speed of you heart. but indeed, have an appointment with your GP. Mention the reflux as well, it's good that your condition is checked out properly. Hope you get sorted soon.
