Women's Health

I received an e-mail inviting me to join a Women Only Forum. I filled in all my details and they appeared on Health Unlocked as though I was a new subscriber. Now I can't find any link to the site at all. Have I been duped?

Look here. I think it's okay.

healthunlocked.com/womenshe...

I am not sure it is. Went into link and asked me to introduce myself with a post. I did and it said 'You don't have the required permissions'. It then came up as a Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia site. Very strange. Hope I haven't let a virus loose in my system! x

Hi

If you use the link supplied by Toci, it appears to be a genuine site.

But if you click browse communities and enter. Women's Health, it comes back not found?

I would send copy of e-mail to Healthunlocked.

How was they able to contact you who supplied your details?

It is there Stone. Look in 'Find a Community' and there it is in the 'W' section of the 'Directory of organizations'. The post Lizzy commented on seems to have been started by Pepa, of Healthunlocked.

Hi Toci

Found it, on the new it is not shown, found it using the old site .

It is genuine , no good to me being male.

If people join there are ask to introduce themselves on the pinned post.

This is often used on Facebook , it is to try a cut down on spam and trolls. The theory being they will not bother to complete.

The link is just a add on.

Thanks to you all for your replies. It seems as though there is something not quite right about the site which is a bit worrying as they asked for your details. 'They' could have contacted me through HU, that's all I can think of. I'll wait to see if a Moderator from BLF picks up the post, if not I'll contact them. Thanks again to everyone for your input. Take care Lizzy. xx

Hi again, I followed Toci's link and all the posts were days old. Something not quite right there, so I followed Stone's route and it came up O.K. and the posts were recent but not quite what I was expecting. Thanks again to everyone for their help. Take care, Lizzy.
