I've had my Amazon bought one for abort 3 years now. All I have to do is change the batteries now and again. It's always been reliable.

Hello

I always tend to look around on the internet and end up on Amazon in the end!

Take care

Amazon, they've always got plenty of reviews to study. Mine's Biosync, £19

I wasted around £25 for a blue and white one last year which had flashing extra functions and it was useless - jumped from 90 to 92 so I couldn't trust the readings plus the batteries kept running out.

I went back to Crucial Medical Systems (may have been through Amazon or direct) which was my first oximeter that lasted years and bought my second one from them for around £20. Served me right for not going back to them in the first place!!

I bought a TempIR pulse oximeter from Amazon on 13 March 2014. I am very pleased with it. I paid £29.95. I thought if I pay an average price, I won't get the rubbish. I hope it's right. I checked it against my nurse's expensive one, it was accurate. In the leaflet, they warn that there is an accuracy or +/- 2%. This is true for all medical gadgets. The only way to obtain an accurate measurement is through the artery in the wrist - not a pleasant experience, as eh sharp scratch is very sharp indeed. But they measure not only the oxygen level, but the acidity of the blood and other stuff.
