I did not think this week could get any worse, well it just has! Got the terrible news that my 43 year old sister got an enlarged heart and fibrosis.

Thank you Tad.Much needed right now. My poor sister has just seen my husband go through this dreadful illness and pass on. Only hope along with the right treatment and support she will take courage and help given to her

Oh rocket I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. Don't forget there are many reasons for fibrosis/ types of fibrosis so she may not have IPF. Please be strong for your sister and I hope very much that she will respond to treatment and that she will be well. Lots of lovexxx

I don't know if this will ease your worries a little, but my Dad had an enlarged heart for many many many years - he died at 93.

Hi Louisiana, if that was only difficulty it would be awful. My husband has just died of fibrosis and it right now looks as if my sis has same on top of heart.
