Not had a good day
It might be the time of year David, pollen, dust, pollution, animals, air-pressure, smells...a lot of things can trigger a bad chest so it might be wise to see the doctor for some advice, hope you feel better soon! take care, huff xxx
Thats a good peak flow compared to mine, I'm lucky to get 120-150 at anytime during the day. Is it asthma you have? I check my oxygen sats throughout the day & it gives me a good indication what my oxygen levels are & I can alter my medication if it's really low. I bought a pulse oximeter from eBay for about £15 & I wouldn't be without it.
John119 ward no I have copd
Hi david12, I don't know if you have asthma as well as COPD but as hufferpuffer says, its a bad time of year - however your COPD normally affects you, if you also have asthma you could be feeling worse now from various allergies. This is the case for me though i tend to be affected by the later pollens, while several friends have been affected since april.
I hope you are also having spirometry tests for the COPD. Any queries about this contact the BLF helpline.
I am surprised you are still using peak flow as a measurement. I was told it was no good really for COPD. Oxygen stats are better.
David I can never get a reading above 100/120. Hope you feel better soon. Like hufferpuffer says air pressure affects me and diesel fumes.
Morning David - hope you have a better day today. TAD xxx
