MedicAid Freeway portable nebuliser looking for a home

I have a MedicAid Freeway portable nebuliser compressor that hasn't been used for sometime. I hate to throw it in the skip. Is there anywhere that takes and refurbishes equipment. I don't want any money for it but would want to know it is being properly checked out for safety before being used again.

Hi Robin the chest outpatients would be glad of it they keep them and service them to be loaned to people that need them and can't afford to buy one.

Your asthma nurse or doctor will give you the contact.

Thanks. Useful to know. A couple of other people have shown and interest so if neither of those work out I will contact chest outpatients. Very grateful for the reply.

Hi Robin, I have just been looking through messages and saw your name...So I thought I would send you a Cheer up Message....I hope you are well and bearing up...My condition not getting any better and I now have to decide if I want to go on very high dose steroids....I'm not too enthusiastic....but it seems to be the only option at the moment.

Keep smiling and do take care.
