OK so I have had 2 doctors tell me I have early stage emphysema, thing is though, I have had symptoms that really don't fit into the early stage picture.
This has led me to see a 3rd doctor, a lung specialist.
On my initial visit last week he seemed quite confident in telling me I don't have Emphysema, but have a pulmonary embolism in one of my lungs due to a blood clot from deep vein thrombosis.
I am going to see him tomorrow and get a final answer to this, fingers crossed I have had bad luck with the previous two doctors and they have misdiagnosed my problem.

First off, thanks for your support in what has been a difficult 2 month of 'diagnosis limbo'.
I think most of you have probably experienced this before.
The verdict is, I have no emphysema, no cancer, but inflammation of two lymph nodes inside my lungs and minor damage due to smoking. So good news! I'm still short of breath at times and I get tired easy but with exercise, no smoking and good diet i'm told it will improve.
I will still continue with my research into copd treatment and keep telling my friends to quit smoking.
Catch you all sometime in the future, I wish you all the best.
Thankyou once again for your support, it really has helped get me through this difficult time.
If there's anything I can do in return, please drop me a line.
