Oh I wish my Husband would let me have a good old swear.

He is alwa.ys telling me I do not act like a lady and if I had a good old swearing session I feel he would nearly choke to death but boy oh boy bad day today. I have had 8/10 really good days but today can't move from room to room without gasping for breath. Only good thing is oxi levels dip to 93 but after catching my breath and a minute or two later they are reading 96/88 or 97/90. I will not be beaten going in the garden to enjoy the sun and slowly weed the garden. Have a good day all. xx

Hi Suzy, If you feel like having a good old swear at times. Then do it under your breath, just swear in your head. That way you are expressing your feelings but not wasting vital energy. I must admit I am having a bit of a giggle at the thought of it! Enjoy the sun (lucky you), but don't overdo it. Take care. hugs xx

Hi huggs under my breath is not quite the same but I will try it next time. I enjoyed the sun but think I overdid it. I'm always telling him I was a lady till I married him. xx

Oh Suzy, I know its not nearly as satisfying swearing under your breath. What you could do is make up your own language for particular words. Foreign, dippy sounding words and he won't know what is going on. On the other hand if he has done something to make you want to swear, then just go for it! ha ha ha. Tell him if he wouldn't make you so frustrated (or whatever) then you wouldn't feel the need to swear so its all his fault. If its your health situation that make you want to swear, then maybe singing some rude songs would help! ( If you have the breath that is!) Sorry, I haven't really got any good ideas about this. When I was married my ex could frustrate me in a way that no other person before or since has done. So he just got it. He did not like it!! take care, hugs xx

I have been known to let go and then my family can tell the depth of my anger by the words. The more angry I am the stronger the words. Yes I do feel better afterwards. xx

I wish he/she comes off a facebook photo page called I think "Our Beautiful Planet". My two are old now. Black and white one is a little fatty cat the tabby one is getting a little tatty looking now but we love them.

((((Hugs)))

I sometimes replace swear words with good words especially round the kids. Oh sugar plums! Would be quite funny for you because he'll know your swearing but he could not say anything about it. Lol.

Enjoy the garden.

Why do you have to act like anything? Be yourself if you want to swear LET IT OUT GIRL they always say a little bit of what you fancy does you good !!! Get it off your chest, I'm sure your old man has uttered some expletives in the past?? Granted there is a time and place (not when your in church !!) GO GIRL Blame it on %*%"@## TURRETS - Breathe Easy

Thanks your post made me laugh. My stock answer is usually "A lady wouldn't have lasted the course with you, cos gentleman you are not"

Not acting like a lady?! It's the 21st century for heavens sake - the world's moved on Suzy. You do what you need to, your ol' man will survive :)

Alongside the expletives, it might be a good idea to find some breathing exercises which might relax you. Might relax him too, you never know. All best wishes.

Hi Suzy,

I am with cooughhalot just let it flow and sod the old man, tell it how it is it's you who's feeling the pain, he should love you regardless you might be surprised at his reaction he might just think himself lucky to be living with a spirited gal.
