Hello, I have just become a member of the site, I would be grateful for any help, my husband was sent for a chest xray Wednesday 12th this

Month because of a cough, on Friday 14th he got a letter from hospital to go for a ct scan on thorax and abdomen with contrast on the 25th this month,but no results from chest xray, thanks for any info

Hi Miss Polly, I think it is pretty standard exploratory process, I have COPD they gave me a thorax/abdomen scan but I never was told the results. There will probably be a follow up appointment with a consultant who will be glad to answer your questions, and if not him your GP should. Best of luck for your Hubby.

They found my Pulmonary Hypertension with the radio scan. I can not have the contrast as I am allergic to Iodine.
