Hello

It took me 3 months, so don't beat your self up it feels like you'll never feel better but you will. Next thing I knew I was at PR rehab which helped a lot.

Good luck

hi I had pneumonia although you seem to get over the bug itself within four weeks it seems to take for ever to get your strength back. I had pneumonia in October and it took me till mid January to recover. Don't feel guilty it is not a competition to feel better the quickest. Just take your time you will know when you are feeling on top of things again.

Get some sun if you can, and plenty of rest a good book is not too taxing! best wishes Irene

I had pneumonia in December, I just cant seem to get over the exhaustion. I do have multiple probs too and wonder if this is making things worse, I am hoping some sun will help me. Pouring with rain and really windy again here. So I wont hold my breath. Hope you feel better soon. M x

It all depends on how fit you are and how your immune system fights all the problems that go with pneumonia. Do not let it get you down it will not help PMA :)

I was hospitalised with pneomonia and it took me a good few months to get back on track. During this time attended PR course that really helped.

You better get to a hospital and get the antibiotics you need or it will not go away.

I was in a hospital 5 days. They gave me 2 different i.v. antibiotics daily until they finally killed the infection. I received multiple blood tests, daily injections in both sides of my stomach, and pulmonary breathing-treatments everyday, every 6 hours. I was on Oxygen 24 hours a day with a constant O2 monitor, and 5 cardiac/lung monitors attached to my chest. Pneumonia is serious. Don't play around!

Pneumonia can kick your butt. I had a little cough for a few weeks and thought nothing about it. Begin to get little winded which got worse. Ended up in hospital for 5 days. Double pneumonia. I thought I would die. Don't play around with this disease. It can take your life quick.
