I STRUGGLE GETTING MY SHOPPING

I use on line shopping for my big grocery shop. It's so much easier than carrying the shopping home. The delivery guy even unpacks them :) x

have you tried contacting your local council, they may have people who can do your shopping for you

or, perhaps you could do it online and have it delivered

Hi Clint welcome as you see from the replies this is where you post , online shopping is a must if needs be, or maybe a helper to do your shopping, social services can help with this as already said. You may even need help with other things, which social services may be able to supply, good luck hope to hear from you again on the site.

For weekly groceries I do Ocado or Tesco home delivery.

For the odd stuff I'll use ebay or Amazon

For more general shops & particularly just to get out & about I'll go to our local(ish) shopping mall & use one of their shopmobility scooters .... they're free

Our local town also has a shopmobility scheme where you pay a nominal annual fee to borrow one of their electric scooters.

...... we also have a local charity organisation that's a bit like a free cab service.

Perhaps worth asking for info in your local library or council offices .........

& worth pointing out I live in a rural environment - I'm guessing there'd be more choice in towns & cities.

Goof luck.
