swallow throat

i been taking antibiotics for some time now,,in about two day ago i have an conformable throat , my throat is really dry, i ring 111 for any help last night, and i been waiting all night for doctor to ring me,he never ring, can antibiotics cause dry thoatxxx

I have never experienced a dry thoat, Podmore. I wonder if you have a temp. or any other symptoms of a cold/infection. You may need a change of antibs.

I get it a lot at this time of the year,I think the weather has a lot to do with it.

I just drink lots and gargle with salty water
