One spacer for all & wash it regularly I was told. Including Salbutamol.

I was also told by someone I highly respected at PR that using a spacer ensures you get 50% more of the medication than you would without using one. Win win.

My respiratory nurse says to use a separate one for the steroid inhaler and a different one for salbutamol, but that was told to me at a time when I had a worsening of symptoms through a bad cold, I was advised to use a different spacer for each. Its bound to vary from patient to patient, just check back with your respiratory nurse.

I was given a spacer before Christmas I was finding it hard to use my inhalers had lots of pain in left side, I have a steroid inhaler which I use three times a day 2 puffs each time and use the spacer for both.
