Hi sal13, yous o2 levels sound good to me but I assume you have had an aterial blood gases test done (ABG) for some reason. The nurse takes blood from an artery usually in your wrist. You will know if you've had this!

The ABG measures, amongst other things, the carbon dioxide in your blood. If this was considered too high I would expect your nurse to say you need to have it re-tested in a few weeks. My last 4 ABG's have had raised co2 on 2 occasions, ok on 2. Raised co2 can be temporary so no point in worrying. Speak to your GP or nurse if you have another appointment.

Hi Sal13. If you have specific questions about your health, or just want to ask about things generally, you can always ring the BLF nurses. Click on the red balloon (top right) for contact details. I would stay away from Google as there is some really scary stuff on there! Welcome to the site.
