Shopping List

Bread, potatoes, two slices of ham.

A tin of beans and Strawberry jam.

A pint of milk, a pound of cheese

Stop now for a cappuccino please.

Oh and don't forget the paper too

and some soft tissue for the loo.

A packet of Bold, a bottle of bleach.

Can you manage all that?

You are a peach.

Love it - if I could only remember to take my shopping list with me when I go to the stores lol Julie

My shopping list is usually in OH's head Julie, or on the kitchen table. lol xx

Yep - kitchen table is where you would find mine, couldn't depend on OH, he's the type who only tells you he has used the last of ......(fill in the blank) when you get back from shopping! lol xx

I enjoyed the poem, but was thinking don't forget the trolley too. And as you say that is if I remember to pick the list up and don't leave it on the table in my rush to catch the bus.

I am totally boring. I put things on the list as I get low on them and I never forget to take my lists with me. I am terrified of my wife. lol

Never do the household shopping . About 5 years ago Hubby told me, after 45 years of my doing it, I don't shop wisely, so after a few naughty words suggested he do it see if he was more thrifty. Took me up on the challenge and has done it ever since. The novelty is wearing thin now though.

I will make a shopping. Between leaving home and going around the supermarket, I lose my list. Annoying.

I used to find that having written a list most of the items stayed in my head even if I forgot to take it with me - the list, that is, not my head, although I think I've done that on more than a few occasions too! xx
