Just in case you are googling, it is called GERD in the U.S. as they spell oesophagus without the "o". Lots of people with COPD have it.

yeah, I have it. I also have hiatus hernia. They told me to chew my food and let it go down properly after each mouthful. For the reflux, I take Lanzoprazole. Others can take a similar drug, Omeprazole. The difference, one is made in France, the other over here, same stuff!
