Hi mahunamoon-I am relatively new here but I have been making lots of enquiries recently on the forum about air purifiers (you probably have seen my notes). I am interested in getting a hepa air purifier and possibly a dehumidifier too for my little flat. I have bronchiectasis. Anyway, will you let me know how you get on with yours when you start using it? I have heard two other good reports about the Homedics one on this forum, so I am looking at getting one from Argos.Which model are you getting? I have a big problem breathing in the morning and I think it is because my place is in a heavily polluted area and I have lots of condensation too, so probably mould spores floating about in my room as well as dust mites. Sounds awful. Have you had an air purifier before? Sorry for all the questions.

Hello stillmovin1 of course I will make post regarding my goodies so that it may help others, welcome to the forum, I am new here aswell, only been 2 or 3 weeks, and I have made myself comfortable feet up, tea and coffee, even shared a cake on here that someone made on a rainy day he he he lol, they are all lovely and very helpful and supportive. thanks for asking. Joan x

I have never used one before, and I dont do any dusting lol, but it gets done whilst I am out. So it will have a good trial, got 30 days I think, so nothing to lose really.

Thanks for that Joan, I will check out Amazon too - this site is a lot better than I expected it to be! I started yesterday with my question about air purifiers and have had so much info shared by very generous folk that I am on the PC non-stop! I hope I don't develop an addiction! I had better get that air purifier soon as I am sitting here at my PC in a tiny bedroom with lots of dust and mould floating about in the atmosphere, I might conk out before I get anything!

although I havn't got mine yet, im sure it will be very good, and guess what it will help our pc/laptops last longer as they get lots of dust in them aswell lol... so then we get even more addicted its all good fun, lol

as for being addicted to pc, my answer to that is always, we could be doing a lot of worse things. happy surfing. Joan x

I had one for sometime. The thing is you need to change the filter fairly often. Then I forgot to change it and lost the address of the filter firm. I stopped using it now. but I think it's good to improve breathing, increasing the humidity and preventing the radiators from drying the air too much.

on one of the reviews on amazon a lady brought one, and said filters were very expensive, so she explains how to cover the exiting filter to make it last longer seemed to be ok for her I will copy and paste her ideas keep them for when I am in need. Joan x

boys buy at amazon too. I bought yesterday, for the third times, Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. this time, it's a revised and modernised edition, with scripture notes, and other notes by a chap who is a good singer, as well as a bible teacher.

Today, I got myself delivered a pair of nippers, because I couldn't stand the pain of a toenail. My chiropodist will come in the middle of November, but that's too far to wait with this nail pinching my skin. Phew! I've used it, what a relief!

so back to a new chess programme I've just bought. anybody for a game???
