.................My wife on the phone
Last year, we replaced all the windows in our bungalow
with those expensive, double-pane, energy efficient kind.
Today the wife took a call from the contractor that had installed them.
He complained to her that the work had been completed a year ago
and still hadn't been paid for them.
The wife said
''Hellloooo......just because I am married to KOTC
doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid.''
So she told him what his fast-talking sales guy told us last year....
....that these windows would pay for themselves in a year.
''Hellloooo? It's been a year so they're paid for,'' she told him
There was only silence at the other end so she finally hung up.
He never called back
I bet he felt an idiot.
