P.F &flu jab ?good or bad?

Hi terence2, there could be a very good reason your brother's doctor has advised against him having a flu jab, none of us can know that reason so can't really advise you.

I would go with what your doctor advises you personally.

Your brother could communicate with his doctor to clarify the reason he has been advised against having the flu jab this year.

Both you and/or your brother could give the helpline a call to speak to one of the nurses who may be able to shed some more light on this for you. BLF Helpline, open 10am to 5pm week days 03000 030 555.

I would agree with blakeyc - please ring the helpline and try to find an answer. Good luck! TAD x

My husband has PF, has a flu jab every year - I don't think it affects him adversely. We had ours on saturday - i got asore arm, he didn't............but there must be a reason why the consultant says no?

I have PF and have a flu jab each year - am encouraged to do so. It may be for a reason specific to him that your brother has been advised not to have it.

Perhaps he needs to seek clarification from the professional concerned.
