Happy healthy weekend to you too
hiya i must say iam a little proud .im gonna go out on gertie to the park and feed the ducks. many thanks Blakey,Janexx
Jane, I tried SO many times before I beat it. In my experience days 3 and 4 are the hardest. This is when your body realises you mean it and really tries to defeat you. But it didn't did it? YOU were stronger than the cravings. Now I know you will win. xx
"Three Days After You Quit
At this point, the nicotine will be completely out of your body. Unfortunately, that means that the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal will generally peak around this time. You may experience some physical symptoms such as headaches, nausea, or cramps in addition to emotional symptoms."

hi Toci well im glad the nicotine has gone i cant wait till my smokey nurse does her test on me she wont believe it .Iyup had acouple of those symptoms but not terrible in any way,a few more battles to win i think before i conquer the war havin g said that probably will be like an alcholic dare not even have the one eh.Janexx
I think you have it oh so right there... it is just like the alcohol thing, Ive done it twice over the last 12-15 years ... given up for two or three years, then 'just had one' and been back smoking for years again before I could give up again
(those two .'.just one'.. ciggies are why Im here with COPD ... if I hadn't had them, ... and then all the rest, I very much doubt I'd have bad lungs now)
.... I now know ... however much I would (sometimes) like to kid myself .... one .... will not stay one .... it will be years before I manage to give up again ... and I just can't risk it
Hope you can keep saying 'No'
All the best
and well done !! Keep it up
Beth xx
Wonderful Jane you've got to keep going now.
Keep going. I remember if it got hard, I would go to bed (I never smoked in bed).
